As a frequent traveler between the UK and the U.S. , I recently stopped at the Novotel, positioned conveniently along the route from the Dordogne back to the UK. the hotel offers a good blend of value and comfort for a one-night stay, particularly for families. The room I occupied was spacious and had the added convenience of two extra single beds for the kids. The modernized decor was appreciated, along with the large, comfy bed. My family enjoyed the games room and the seasonal outdoor pool, which offered a nice break for everyone after a long journey. I particularly liked the complimentary water machine in the lobby—it’s a thoughtful touch emphasizing sustainability. The friendly staff provided bowls for our dog and were prompt when returning a lost toy, enhancing the sense of a caring environment. While the hotel is a bit on the outskirts of Orleans, ample free parking and easy access to the motorway made it a logical choice for this portion of our trip. The Novotel offers a pleasant and practical option—an excellent balance of luxury without the extravagant price tag, perfect for families or travelers like us looking for value.
